Elizabeth I was born on 7 September 1533 at Placentia Palace in London and died on 24 March 1603 at Richmond Palace in the same city. She was Queen of England and Ireland from 1558 until her death. She was the daughter of King Henry VIII, and the fifth and last member of the Tudor dynasty on the English throne. When her mother Anne Boleyn was executed three years after her birth, she lost her title of princess, which she had received at birth and which was enshrined in the Second Act of Succession.
