Late 18th century French school, follower of Piat-Joseph SAUVAGE (1744-1818) Pair of portraits in grisaille and in pendants, the man in profile on the left, powdered wig, jabot, ribbon on the chest, probably of the Order of St Louis; the young woman in profile on the right, a ribbon in her bouffant wig, long hair at the back, dress with queen's collar and wimple on the chest. Two fine miniatures on ivory, circa 1785-1790 D. 5.1 cm (as seen) Chased and gilt bronze frames with brackets Gross weight: 58.6 gr (lady) 59.7 gr (man) Expert: N.
