Kazak carpet (wool warp, weft and pile), South Caucasus, circa 1930-1970 H. 291 cm - W. 107 cm AC The carpet is embellished with numerous polychrome eight-branched hooks on a red background. An ivory border with a succession of multicoloured geometric motifs is framed by two counter-borders. Slight wear, fraying, accident at one end and damaged edges.
