Double-strand cultured pearl necklace, with the strands separated at regular intervals by coral* elements (Coralium Rubrum). The pearl-set rings are made of gold-plated metal. L. 160 cm CORAL (marked with an *) Specimen of Corallium rubrum (CITES Appendix IIB, pre-Convention), not subject to French regulations (Regulation 338/97 of 9 December 1996, Article 2-W mc), as this coral was not harvested from the French coast. This specimen is therefore not subject to the prohibition provisions of the French Environmental Code. This specimen may therefore be traded within the European Union as the material has been worked into jewellery. However, a CITES re-export certificate will be required for export from the European Union, and the cost of this will be borne by the future purchaser.
