Description
CHINA, late Qing dynasty (1644-1912). A scholar's table with rolled-up ends known as "Qiaotou'an". The transition from belt to base is carved with lingzhi mushrooms and the bases of the legs with stylised foliage. The legs are joined by two crosspieces. Natural wood with a beautiful honey patina. Height: 93.5 cm, length: 119 cm, width: 34 cm. A few small cracks. French private collection. Expert: Véronique Gaudemer
