Charles CHRISTOFLE (1853-1863). A silver chocolate pot with the Minerve hallmark and the goldsmith's hallmark. In the shape of a truncated cone with a flat base, the plain body is embellished with a spout stylising an eagle's head underlined by volutes. The handle is turned ebony and the lid ends in a hinged seed for the frother. The lid and the junction between the handle and the body are decorated with water leaves. Scroll thumb rest.
