A geocentric armillary sphere with wooden bands and printed paper. The structure consists of two vertical rings (the circle of the solstices and the circle of the equinoxes) and a horizontal ring (the circle of the ecliptic), adorned with a band on which the signs of the zodiac and the months are depicted. At the centre of the structure is normally the Earth (missing here) and, connected to a thin metal strip, the Sun and Moon revolve around it, represented by two circles of different diameters. Dated to the 19th century. Unsigned. Damage, missing parts and distortions. The planetary model is not secured to its wooden base. Height approx. 52 cm
