Attributed to DAUM NANCY and Joseph Alexandre MARTEL (active between 1888 and 1914) Liqueur set in frosted glass with a relief decoration of flowering branches etched with acid and highlighted with gold, set in 950-thousandths sterling silver with a relief decoration of cherry blossoms, and a handle in the shape of a blooming flower. It comprises a ewer, six cups (one of which is broken) and a round tray. Unsigned. Hallmark: Minerva, 1st standard. Silversmith’s mark: JM, two hammers and two stars.
