Romain de TIRTOF (1892–1990), known as ERTE. A secret cabinet in teak, sycamore and pear wood marquetry, decorated with a pair of winged figures. It opens via two accordion-style panels, revealing filing compartments and two drawers. Gilded bronze base with a cross-shaped design, set with a lapis lazuli stone in the centre. Signed on the front. Mark on the underside. Artist’s proof. One-off piece. Manufactured in the 1990s by the RINCK workshops in Paris. Height: 130 cm - Width: 52 cm - Depth: 22 cm Provenance: - Private collection, France.
