Description
Thin-walled hemispherical bowl with relief decoration stamped into the mould, the body decorated with a frieze of ivy foliage. The upper part, under the rim, is decorated with a continuous geometric frieze. On the underside (below the vase), a radiating design of stylised palmettes.
Terracotta.
Hellenistic period, 2nd-Ist century BC.

Provenance: On the inside, an old label mentions the place where it was found: "small cup from Lake Copaïs" (Boeotia, dried up in the 19th century).
