Description
Processional or altar cross in gilded, cast, engraved copper and champlevé enamel. Latin cross with fleur-de-lys at the ends of the arms. The lower central part ends in a point. The decoration consists of engraved plant motifs that cover the entire surface of the cross on both sides. The arms of the cross are decorated with oval medallions and a cartouche with the inscription IHS. Christ is depicted in relief in the centre, along with the Virgin Mary on the right and Saint John on a pedestal on the left, the Thuriferous Angel at the top and Adam emerging from the tomb at the bottom.
