The uprights are formed by two large consoles ending in lions' paws.
Stamped I.B. SENE for Jean-Baptiste SENE, carpenter, master in 1769.
18th century.

Consoles by Jean-Baptiste SENE are very rare, as his art was almost exclusively applied to chairs.
A console, sold in London on 14 December 2005, from the Wildenstein collection, whose uprights and belt are very similar to ours, but unsigned, was attributed to him.
