The Sacred Way Bronze group with green patina, signed and dated 1921 21 x 31 x 21 cm The Sacred Way was the only road linking the Verdun front line with the rear (Bar-le-Duc). It was via this road that the Battle of Verdun was supplied with men and ammunition for 10 months, day and night. Maurice Barrès gave it its name.
