A fine clock with a gilded bronze case decorated with a blue-ground porcelain vase, surmounted by a cassolette with a pine-cone-shaped handle, and flanked by two lion’s muzzles. The dial has a gilt background with white enamelled cartouches and Roman numerals, signed ‘Richond 11 bd Montmartre’; the whole rests on five spindle-shaped feet. The base is made of red and gold lacquered wood. Late 19th century. Total height: 77 cm.
