A half-moon-shaped mahogany chest with moulded panels and richly decorated with gilded bronze. It opens via two glazed doors in the upper section and two drawers and two doors in the lower section, decorated with Wedgwood-style biscuit medallions depicting a scene of classical figures against a blue background. The top is of Brocatelle marble. Louis XVI style, crafted in the Faubourg district during the second half of the 19th century. H_258 cm W_157 cm D_54 cm
