Robert COMBAS (born in 1957). Tiger’s Head – 2007. “A funny little painting depicting a group of people and a particularly large panther. In truth, it’s a mask that a President has donned. In fact, it is a portrait of Nicolas Sarkozy (from the head up), as I saw on a TV programme where UMP politicians were asked: ‘Which animal does Nicolas Sarkozy remind you of?’, and the most common answer was a panther (sometimes black).”.
