[DALI]. ORIGINAL SIGNED DRAWING WITH A SIGNED AUTOGRAPH. *The Drawings of Dali*. Introduction by Stephen Longstreet. Los Angeles, Borden Publishing Company, 1964. Double-page quarto (approx. 45 x 30 cm) mounted under glass in a large carved and silver-plated wooden frame. ORIGINAL FULL-PAGE DRAWING in brown felt-tip pen on the white leaf opposite the book’s title page. It depicts the figure of DON QUIXOTE whirling and is signed by the artist in the bottom right-hand corner. The drawing is accompanied by an AUTOGRAPH DEDICATION which continues onto the title page, featuring DALI’s large, stylised SIGNATURE, with the capital ‘D’ framing Gala’s face as depicted on the title vignette: ‘For André / Dalí / 1971’. The book, which is probably complete, has been framed open across a double-page spread at the title page. Expert: Eric Casteran
