QUARXX Journey, 2004 Acrylic on canvas, signed lower right 86 x 116 cm Quarxx is a hyperactive and passionate multimedia artist who finds his creative outlet in film, photography and painting. He has already exhibited in several galleries in Paris, London, Shanghai and Beijing. Whimsical, excessive, even provocative, Quarxx’s world is multifaceted and reflects a genuine taste for the fringes and the unclassifiable characters that inhabit them. This approach is evident from his very first short films, notably the trilogy *Rasta-Kamikaze Bang-Bang* / *Dirty Maurice* / *Zéropolis*, as well as in *Nuit Noire*, which has been screened at numerous festivals and won, amongst other awards, the Best Director Award at the L.A. Indie Film Festival.
