Description
Jules MOIGNIEZ (1835–1894) Sparrow Fight Model created around 1867. Bronze with a medallion patina. Signed ‘J. Moigniez’. Height: 21 cm; Length: 19 cm Jules Moigniez, a pupil of Paul Comolera, made his debut at the 1855 World’s Fair, and subsequently exhibited regularly at the Paris Salon between 1859 and 1892. His father, a foundryman in Saint-Martin-du-Tertre since 1850, produced the editions of his works.
