TYRANNOSAURUS REX (T-Rex) Upper Cretaceous, Maastrichtian, present-day North America, A large museum-quality resin cast of a complete skull with mandible, displayed on a black lacquered metal plinth. A 1:1 scale reproduction of a Tyrannosaurus rex specimen, featuring a faithful recreation of the osteological structures and bone texture, in particular the fused nasal bones and the mandibular apparatus. With a maximum force of between 35,000 and 57,000 newtons, the Tyrannosaurus’s jaw derives its strength in part from the conical shape of its teeth, which resemble canines and are visible in this reproduction. 90 x 90 x 40 cm
