76. A small silver and enamel kovsh
marked with Cyrillic mark 'NS' for Nukolai Strulev, Moscow, 1883-1908
Traditional form with hook handle; decorated with trefoil reserves of scrolling flowering foliage in fine varicoloured shaded filigree enamel again stippled silver ground, rim and bottom outlined with borders of blue dots, 84 standard, scratched n229, weight gross 114.63gms, length 14cm (5 1/2 in).
Provenance
Acquired by the parents of the present owner in 1930s in Moscow.
Thence by descent.
