92. A Dutch Delftware pewter-mounted cashmere palette ewer, circa 1700 With period pewter mounts, the cover with ball finial and the foot with "piecrust" edges, each side forming a recessed roundel decorated with a prunus blossom in relief, the neck and sides decorated with birds, prunus and chrysanthemum blossoms separated by a red herringbone border, the shaped foot with a frieze of red husks and a band of chrysanthemum blossoms with blue and green leaves amid floating scrollwork, edged with a hatched border, 21cm high Provenance The Visser Collection, Heemstede, until 2009; With Robert Aronson, Amsterdam.
