An 18th-century Amsterdam grandfather clock, signed Paulus Bramer, Amsterdam, featuring a richly executed burr walnut veneered case with profiled moldings and brass fittings. The silver-plated and gold-plated dial with Roman and Arabic numerals features a seconds hand, day indicator, date indicator, and moon phase indicator. Below the dial is a polychrome painted tableau with allegorical female figures. The Netherlands, 18th century. H. 260 cm. -
