Trois carnets d’atelier*, Carnet II, 1970, after drawings dated 15 September 1964*. A collection of four graphic facsimile sheets based on drawings by Pablo Picasso, taken from the second sketchbook of the portfolio *Le Goût du bonheur*. Trois carnets d’atelier. This second carnet covers the period from 15 September to 6 October 1964. The group consists of three characteristic head studies, all dated 15.9.64 and numbered I, II and III in the illustration, supplemented by the decoratively embellished Canson cover sheet of Carnet II, bearing the date of the sketchbook in question. The sheets 15.9.64 I and 15.9.64 III are documented as Carnet II, plate 1 and plate 3 respectively. Printed on Arches vélin. These are from: album no. 445/666 by Harry N. Abrams, New York.
