Description
CHINA, Qianlong mark and period, 18th century
A small ormolu bottle vase with a rich polychrome cloisonné enamel decoration on a turquoise background of lotuses among foliage. The tubular neck with hemmed lip is decorated with a frieze of cobalt-enamelled ruyi. The globular body is mounted on a short circular foot and decorated with a frieze of alternating pearls and scrolls.
A five-character Qianlong mark "乾隆年制 冠" incised below the base.
H. 13.5 cm.
