THAILAND - Ayutthaya, 17th century Bronze Buddha with brown patina and traces of gilding, depicted standing, both hands in Abhaya mudra, wearing an Antaravasaka held in place by a belt. The face is serene, the eyes half-closed, the eyebrows arched, the lips smiling slightly and the earlobes drooping. The headdress is adorned with the Ushnisha and topped with the Rasmi. Metal base. H. 82 cm high H. 103 cm (with base).
