CHINA, 19th century A large straight Huanghuali cupboard opening with two leaves revealing two compartments separated by two small drawers. The leaves and crosspiece are decorated with a repetitive pattern of Shishis and hearts forming stylised flowers. The straight legs are joined by four braces (one of which needs refixing). Brass lock and hinge. H. 179 - W 79.5 - D 39.5 cm. (Legs weakened, brace to be re-attached, some small cracks and scratches).
