TUNISIA - Moïse CHEMLA known as MOUCHE (1897-1977) Soup plate in polychrome enamelled terracotta, the umbilicus decorated with a bird carrying a leaf in its beak. The reverse of the wing decorated with flowers in reserves, in the Iznik style. Signed "AWLED CHEMLA TOUNES" (CHEMLA FILS TUNIS) and dated 1367 AH (1947) with the Mouche fish mark.
