Royal Mint – Henry IV (1574–1589) - Quarter-écu, 3rd type with a cross with fleur-de-lis-adorned arms facing forwards, struck at Nantes in 1605; ‘T’ beneath the shield in the legend, date on the obverse; 17th-style obverse and reverse, Star within a crescent, different from that of the Master of the Mint, Jacques Grandamy, on the reverse between ‘DOMINI’ and ‘BENE’, ‘C’ with a dot, distinct from that of the engraver Côme Ménard on the obverse and reverse; dot between ‘BENE’ and ‘DICTVM’ (silver, 9.60 g) TTB (Gadoury 597)
