CHRISTOFLE et Cie, attributed to, the design attributed to Emile REIBER (1826-1893) Chased gilt bronze and white porcelain mantelpiece. Circa 1870 Composed of a clock and a pair of candelabras, the clock with a round dial, the hands in the shape of a dragon and with a chinese numeral, in the shape of a gong flanked by a pair of fô dogs, the candelabras were in porcelain in the imitation of bamboo, with three arms of light in the shape of prunus branches, sakura, in suite. Dimensions of the clock: Height 40 cm. Width 25 cm. Depth 15 cm. Dimensions of the candelabras: Height 42 cm. Width 26 cm. Depth: 13 cm. The wick of one arm is missing.
