A large carved wood mirror with mouldings and gilding, surmounted by a rocaille walnut supported by a scrolled brace above jagged foliage and foliate scrolls drawing an undulating frame with curves and counter curves of openwork scrolls.
The lower part of the mantel is curved and adorned with two putti, probably used as torchbearers.
The jambs end in scrolls resting on a doucine plinth.
Probably assembled with decorative elements.
