Rectangular cabinet in red-tinted tortoiseshell veneer and bone fillets, opening with ten drawers in four rows and a central leaf revealing an architectural theatre recreating a Tuscan colonnaded hallway with chequered paving alternating tortoiseshell and mother-of-pearl. The leaf adorned with bone filleting simulates a semicircular bay window, the sides adorned with the same architectural decoration in bone filleting. 17th century Antwerp work. Legs missing. Height 61 cm. Width 86 cm. Depth 39.5 cm. Old restorations. Damage to the veneer: top right and left corners, left and right side plinths, minor damage to the top crosspiece at the front. This cabinet was placed on the console presented at number 225 of this sale.
