RARE TABLE LAMP, by Hans BERGSTROM (1910–1996)
This rare table lamp was designed by Hans Bergström in the late 1940s.
The lamp is marked on the base by the Swedish manufacturer “ASEA Belysning” and is also engraved with the model number “E1149”.
The elegant design is characterised by the round, plated brass base with a white push-button switch.
The tapered central stem is made of fluted, stained beech wood, which gives the lamp a refined look.
The brass lampshade features a brass shade holder.
The ivory shade and textured linen have been refurbished.
Height: approx. 54 cm
Base: approx. 13 cm in diameter
Lampshade: approx. 28 cm in diameter.
