A mid-19th-century French-made violin/viola bow, in the ‘MALINE’ style, the shaft is round, made of very dark brown boco (ironwood); the mother-of-pearl-covered frog, without a metal heel, and the solid knob with a mother-of-pearl inlay at the end are made of ebony mounted on nickel silver, weight: 64.8 g including hair and leather fittings; shaft length: 72.6 cm; total length: 74.1 cm; in very good condition.
