Description
René GABRIEL (1890-1950), Buffet enfilade in stained oak opening on the front with two leaves and centred with five drawers separated by crosspieces. It stands on four compass legs. Model "V150", the model designed in April 1944. Circa 1945. Total dimensions: 96x154x47cm. The inner trays are missing. With two keys.
Comment : The V150 sideboard was designed in April 1944 for the Service des Constructions provisoires (Secretary of State for Industrial Production) responsible for producing "reinstallation furniture". The model was displayed in 1946 in the temporary barracks of the Ministry of Reconstruction and Town Planning.
