Description
REST BED - GILBERT POILLERAT (1902-1988). Silvered patinated square iron structure with a headboard and footboard hollowed out by ogives connected by small flattened spheres, decorated at the top with four spheres, side belt hollowed out by bars and an oval in the central part. Corner leg with tapered legs ending in a circular base. Flattened upper spheres, hollowed oval and gilded base.
Height 108 cm - length 194 cm - depth 94 cm
Including: a mattress, a box spring, cushions and a back covered with blue fabric.
History: A similar model was exhibited at the 1953 Salon des Artistes Décorateurs.
