LITTLE TRANSITION PERIOD JUMPING COMMODE, ENAMELLED BY JEAN HOLTHAUSEN. Wood veneer and cube marquetry. It opens with two drawers without a crosspiece, the uprights are canted and the legs are curved.
Ornamented with gilded bronzes such as: ribbon knot escutcheons, mobile draw rings, flamed vase, apron and sabots.
Breche marble top.

Jean Holthausen was awarded the title of master cabinetmaker in Paris on 17 August 1764.
