These plates were exhibited at the Louise Leiris Gallery from 24 January to 24 February 1973, a few weeks before the artist’s death, and the edition was completed in 1978 at the Crommelynck workshops, run by Picasso’s loyal friends. They bear the artist’s signature stamp (Lugt 2026e). PROVENANCE: Private collection of Aldo Crommelynck, publisher and friend of the artist. Excellent condition
