Description
A large, flared and curved console table in carved and gilded wood, adorned with a rich, asymmetrical rocaille design. The moulding, edged with a frieze of godrons, features broad openwork acanthus scrolls on the front, embellished with leafy stems. The sides are decorated in a similar style. The legs, with double inverted curves, embellished with palm leaves and reeds and finished with scrolls, are joined by an X-shaped brace and rest on small feet. The top is of polychrome breccia marble, moulded with a crobin.

Routine restoration work and repairs to the foot tips. Reinforcements at the waist. The marble is probably a later addition.
