Description
A rectangular table with two folding side panels, made of boxwood veneer, burl walnut and composite inlays. The top features a design of geometric panels adorned with pomegranates, set within a banded border. The interior is inlaid with a large central multi-lobed cartouche, embellished with flowering stems, pomegranates and stylised shells against a background of burl walnut. The whole rests on a square baluster-style body supported by four crooked legs. Germany. 18th century. (Comprising 18th-century elements). H_79 cm W_45 cm D_49 cm – When open: W_45 cm D_98 cm.
