Vintage Art Nouveau silver-plated cutlery set comprising 26 pieces: - 12 place settings (24 pieces in total). L: 21.9 and 21.6 cm; - 1 ladle. L: 32.5 cm; - 1 serving spoon. L: 25.3 cm. Decorated with irises and foliage in a ‘whip-like’ pattern, with notched ends on the spoons. The backs of the spoons are engraved with small marks: ‘GM’(?). Weight mark. Silversmith’s mark: (“C&L” and a shooting star?) for CHAUVIN & LACOMBE? (stamped in 1922).
