Vermeil (gold-plated silver) ice cream set, known as the ‘Napoleon’ model, for 18 guests.
It comprises 18 scoops/spoons and 2 serving pieces (making a total of 20 pieces).
Handles and scoops decorated with foliage, fruit, fleurons and palmettes on an amati background. A slightly raised design featuring a blank coat of arms and a caduceus with Hermes’ hat on the back of the scoops, and cornucopias laden with fruit on the front.
A matching chiselled design on the handles and spoon heads.
Minerva hallmarks, 1st standard.
Hallmarks of the silversmith’s workshop: HENIN & Cie, registered in 1896.
