PARIS 1762–68 Silver stew spoon of the plain, flat-bladed type, with a spatula engraved with a coat of arms surmounted by a marquis’s crown. Master’s and journeyman’s hallmarks for PARIS 1762–68. Guild mark. Master silversmith’s mark: Jean-Baptiste GILLET (mark featuring his initials and a Paschal lamb), admitted to the guild in 1734. Length: 31.6 cm. Weight: 150.2 grams.
