Model created in 1907, drawing inspiration from the Louis XVI period with motifs inspired by Antiquity. These ornaments are derived from the work of Jean-Charles Delafosse (1734–1789), a French ornamentalist and architect who theorised the Louis XVI style and heralded the dawn of Classicism. This design was notably chosen by the Parisian hotel Le Meurice to adorn its tables.
