PUIFORCAT A 6-place cutlery set, comprising 12 pieces (spoons and forks) in silver Decorated with leafy garlands and scrollwork finished with acanthus leaves (echoed on the clasp). The backs of the spoons bear the interlaced ‘GU’ monogram. First-grade Minerva hallmarks. Silversmith’s hallmarks: (‘EP’ and a penknife) for Émile PUIFORCAT, who qualified in 1857. Length of spoons: approx. 21.6 cm. Length of forks: approx. 21 cm. Total weight of the set: 1025 grams. In a box by Raedalsperger, silversmith in Colmar (shows signs of use). Box dimensions: H: 5.5 cm. L: 26.7 cm. D: 23.7 cm.
