Description
RUSSIA, 19th century. Set of 9 table knives. Handles in 2nd-grade silver-plated (800°°) Decorated with fillets, scrolls and shells, and engraved with a coat of arms beneath a count’s crown. The coat of arms features a unicorn. Each handle ends in a knob. The steel (?) blades bear Russian marks of origin (one definitely from the Kondratov works in Vacha?, others dated 1861). Handles not hallmarked. L: 26.2 cm. Weight: approximately 1196 grams. Signs of normal wear and tear. SUBJECT TO INSPECTION
