Description
DUPEZARD Pair of silver salt cellars from the Empire period. Decorated with female busts in the classical style, palmettes, friezes of water leaves and a vase laden with flowers and fruit. Comes with 2 crystal inner bowls. Hallmarks of 1st standard (.950), known as the ‘rooster’. Hallmark of guarantee for PARIS 1809–19. Master silversmith’s mark: DUPEZARD, granted in 1809. Height: 16.5 cm. Silver weight: 173.6 grams. Total weight (including inserts): 294.2 grams.
