A remarkably well-hallmarked piece bearing the LILLE hallmarks and guild marks for LILLE 1753–55 (crowned ‘M’).
Hallmarks (appearing eight times) of the master silversmith and jeweller: Claude-François-Joseph CHARLES, admitted to the guild in 1743.
