PUIFORCAT Set of 6 dessert knives with Louis XVI-style silver-plated handles, silver-plated blades. Rocaille decoration featuring garlands of flowers and foliage in slight relief; pommels bearing the intricately engraved interlaced ‘GU’ monogram. Blades signed: ‘GUERCHET 30. Bard MALESHERBES PARIS’. Minerva hallmark, 1st standard. Master silversmith’s hallmarks: (“EP” and a penknife) for Émile PUIFORCAT, admitted to the guild in 1857.
