Contemporary binding (fastenings missing). This exceptionally rare pamphlet, published in German and in Gothic type, dealing with the Reformation in Europe, was written by Emperor Charles V, in agreement with Rome, in Schoeffer’s fine print, bearing his printer’s mark and large initials on a dotted background.
